BAM BAM B'ham Jam

BAM BAM B'ham Jam The "BAM BAM B'ham JAM" is a basketball tournament held in partnership with the A. G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club.

This sports event honors the memory of Seth Fingerman whose greatest passion was sharing his love of basketball with kids. Our son and brother Seth Fingerman (known as BamBam) was 25 when he committed su***de this December, depressed over his health (brain tumor) and his personal life. Basketball was his passion, and he always wanted to have a positive impact on young kids through basketball. He

had played basketball in Jr College but health problems stopped him before he could become a coach. We picked AG Gaston Boys and Girls Clubs in Birmingham, AL (our home town) for memorial donations, and they suggested a basketball tournament as a tribute to Seth's exceptional life and impact. He was known for his good sportsmanship and fair play. AG Gaston Boys and Girls Clubs inspire and enable young people of the Birmingham metro area, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring adults. They do this through sports, fine arts, camps and leadership programs. How You Can Help:

What's the "big dill" about TBE's Real NY Deli Fundraiser on June 23rd?

Our kosher half-sour and full dill pickles could only come from one place---Guss' Pickles in NYC.

Guss’ Pickles is the country's oldest family-owned pickle company! Founded in 1897 by Izzy Guss , Guss’ Pickles uses generations-old original recipes brought over from the Old Country.

Guss' Pickles has been written about in the New York Times and played a prominent role in the film Crossing Delancey, starring Amy Irving.

Half sours, which have a milder taste, ferment for roughly six to eight weeks. For fully sour pickles, the cucumbers are fermented twice as long for a lip-puckering tartness.

Pick the pickle you crave the most! But don't wait. Order by May 24 or you will miss out and be in a pickle! (Open to the community)

Here's a funny thing that Seth Bam Bam always did for Mother's Day/ Father's Day. He would sign all his cards to us from "Your Favorite Son" and would not sign his name. Drove Levi Fingerman crazy!:-)

Hope you can join us this coming Sunday June 26 at our home to Sethabrate!

Please save the date of Sunday, June 26 (time to be determined) for a Seth Bam Bam Reunion Cookout. A chance for us all to get together and remember Seth Bam Bam, tell funny stories and laugh. More info soon. Or email Mom Fingerman, [email protected].
