Alabama Soccer provides a fun, safe and healthy game for ALL KIDS, big kids, little kids, tall kids, short kids, young kids, older kids, kids who want to play for one season, kids who want to play for twenty seasons, kids who play strictly for fun, and kids who want to compete at the highest level possible. Alabama Soccer’s Recreational programs emphasize FUN and de-emphasize winning at all costs. Every child is guaranteed playing time and the game is taught in a fun and enjoyable atmosphere. For the player with advanced skills and greater ambition, Alabama Soccer provides competitive leagues where the serious player may set her or his sights on a college scholarship or even playing for the US Olympic or National teams.

8 days out…

The posted “Road to the Final” map is a little simplistic. If we win our group there are technically 20 3rd place possibilities. Really though it’s unlikely that Germany or France finishes 3rd…. So we see what they did there… But it seems pretty fair that Canada, Switzerland, or Bosnia Herzegovina could finish third in B, right? This pic does not account for a lot of teams we may face if we the group…. Japan, Netherlands (ok, that’s a stretch), Senegal, and Austria could also be our match up…

So, who would you like to see if we finish top of D?

Who do you want if we finish 2nd? Is it possible Belgium finishes 2nd and we face them??? It’s likely a good chance here of a US and Iran elimination game if we both finish our groups in 2nd… Just…. Wow.

Finishing 3rd in our group means a loooong road. Hard not seeing Germany take their group….

It's that time of year and Alabama is hosting a state-wide new referee class clinic across the entire State! Come back at the end of June to sign up at one of the five locations! Let us know if you have any questions.
