Our hearts & prayers go out to the family of Bro. James Ray Hursh-- a dear friend, a companion in Christ, & a stalwart member of the Birmingham, AL Congregation-- who we lost today.

"...if they die, they shall die unto me; and if they live, they shall live unto me.

"Thou shalt live together in love, insomuch that thou shalt weep for the loss of them that die, and more especially for those that have not hope of a glorious resurrection.

"And it shall come to pass that those that die in me shall not taste of death, for it shall be sweet unto them..."-Doctrine & Covenants 42:12d-f

"And he said unto me, Knowest thou the condescension of God?

"And I said unto him, I know that he loveth his children; nevertheless, I do not know the meaning of all things.

"And he said unto me, Behold, the virgin whom thou seest is the mother of the Son of God, after the manner of the flesh.-1 Nephi 3:56-58 (AV)
