At the end of April, Dr. Pam Murray (Professor Emerita of History at UAB) gave a presentation titled "When France ruled in Latin America & the Case of the French Intervention in Mid-19th Century Mexico.” It covered French cultural and historic influence in Latin America during the 19th century, especially in Mexico.
