🚨 CALLING ALL YOUNG ARTISTS! 🚨🎨

Do you want the chance for your artwork to be showcased at the Alabama State Capitol?

Alabama students in 3rd–5th grade are invited to an exclusive, one-of-a-kind art experience with The Cohill Foundation! This is a rare opportunity to create meaningful artwork that represents District 43, and could be selected for statewide display.

🗓 Date: February 15th
📍 Location: Oak Mountain State Park
⏰ Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

This special art session will be an inspiring, hands-on experience designed to help students express what makes their community great.

We would like to give a special thank you to the Alabama State Council on the Arts and Oak Mountain State Park for partnering with us to make this amazing opportunity possible!

We Need Your Help to Make Our 5th Annual Fall Festival a Success!

Our favorite time of year is here, and we’re gearing up for our 5th Annual Fall Festival! A free fun-filled day for families, friends, and communtity! If you’ve ever been to one of our Fall Festival you know we go all out! However, in order to do provide the best experience, and keep this event free to the public it requires a lot of funds.

That’s where community comes in at! We need your help to make it the BEST one yet! We’re looking for donations and volunteers to help bring the magic to life.

The Cohill Foundation presents the “I AM” Student Showcase, a powerful night of student-led performances celebrating identity, creativity, and expression through the arts!

Our students from i3 Academy & Alabama Aerospace and Aviation High School will take the stage at Red Mountain Theatre to share who they are through music, dance, film, fashion, and spoken word. These young artists have worked tirelessly over the past few months to create performances that are bold, honest, and deeply personal, and now they’re ready to shine.

I would like to send a huge shout out to the Yellowhammer Fund for choosing to continue to support The Cohill Foundation! We were awarded $10,000 to continue the work we’re are currently doing in the Jefferson County Area! It really takes a village, and I’m so grateful to have you all apart of ours! It’s organization like yours that help organization ours stay in existence, and provide quality programming and opportunities to hundreds of students in underserved communities on a weekly basis! We really appreciate y’all❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Cohill Foundation's mission is to empower at-risk youth (Ages 5-21) through the transformative power of creative arts, and provide a safe space for them to express themselves unapologetically! Our goal is to help young individuals explore emotions, resolve internal conflicts, and foster healing while also promoting a just and equitable society!
