When Europe boycotts, Ambassador Huckabee shows up.

While much of the diplomatic world distances itself from Judea and Samaria, U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee stood on the ground of Israel’s biblical heartland, joining Israeli ministers, Knesset members, regional leaders, and activists at the first Judea Conference in ancient Susya.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded Friday to former President Barack Obama’s criticism of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians, firmly rejecting the accusation that the Jewish people are foreign occupiers in their own ancestral homeland.

“Our history is not a colonial enterprise,” Netanyahu said in a video posted to social media. “The Jewish people are not foreign occupiers in the land of our forefathers.”

When an anti-Israel protester confronted him during a comedy show, Seinfeld responded by saying he would find out the cost of the protester’s ticket and send that money to Israel.

It was a sharp response that underscored a simple truth: standing with Israel is nothing to apologize for. Israel is America’s democratic ally, a partner in security and innovation, and a nation fighting for its survival against terrorism.

Anti-Israel hostility will not intimidate those who stand for truth. We need more courage to stand firm in defense of Israel and the values our nations share.

An international conference of special envoys and coordinators combating antisemitism is taking place in Ireland. Yet, according to Maurice Cohen of the Irish Jewish Representative Council, the Herbert Park Hotel cancelled a booking of 70 rooms for conference delegates after reportedly questioning whether the event had a connection to the IDF.

Delegates gathered to confront antisemitism should not find themselves facing discrimination or suspicion because of an assumed connection to Israel. The irony is impossible to ignore.

This incident comes amid painful questions about the treatment of Jews and the willingness to stand with Israel in Ireland. Dublin-born Thomas Hand, whose eight-year-old daughter Emily was abducted by Hamas on October 7 and held hostage in Gaza for 50 days, has spoken about the silence of Irish friends in the aftermath. Emily survived, but the trauma of that experience has not simply disappeared.

Secretary Marco Rubio announced that the Trump Administration is sanctioning the International Criminal Court, sending a clear message: “Either the ICC will end its threats, or we will end the ICC.”

The ICC must not be allowed to weaponize international law against American officials or Israeli leaders defending their nation against terrorism.

Rubio called on America’s allies to rein in the court, warning that the United States will continue working to dismantle it until Americans are no longer threatened.

The United States must stand firmly with Israel, defend national sovereignty, and hold international institutions accountable.
