This event is especially meaningful because Rojo Birmingham has recently faced several unexpected closures due to maintenance issues, which have created real challenges for the restaurant and staff. 🥗🍞There’s something powerful about neighbors showing up for each other. 💛

Our recent food delivery and distribution was made possible by an incredible group of volunteers and community members who gave their time and energy to sort, organize, and prepare meals for the Woodlawn community. From the moment the food arrived to the final box packed, it was a true team effort.

We’re so grateful for everyone who continues to support Woodlawn Community Table, because of you, we’re able to put food on tables and care into action!

We would like to offer loving condolences to the family of George Johnson Jr. Mr. Johnson was an original member of our third (newest) co-op group. He had such a kind, loving spirit and always offered himself or his truck to help someone in need. Rest well, Mr. Johnson. You will be missed. ❤️
