Our Cub Scout Pack 538 is starting a new tradition this year with Holiday Wreaths! These are live wreaths that will be delivered by a Scout to your house the week after Thanksgiving. Every wreath purchased will help offset activity costs and provide financial help so everyone who wants to can enjoy Scouting. If you'd like one let us know in the comments or follow the QR code.

Would you love to get your child involved in outdoor activities and have them learn life skills long the way?

Then cub scouts is the place for your family. Come check out Pack 538 at our parent orientation on August 31 @6:30pm. We are meeting at Asbury United Methodist Church Gym. Here you will learn about our pack, the activities we participate in and get to meet your den leaders. We will answer any all questions you have before signing up. We look forward to seeing you there!

Parents of Oak Mountain Elementary and Oak Mountain Intermediate School... Don't forget to ask your child about the fun they had this week learning about Cub Scouts and Pack 538. We would love to have your child (boys and girls) join our family pack. They should have brought home a flyer with information including all the fun activities we do.

We will have a sign-up night at Oak Mountain Elementary from 6pm - 7pm in the school parking lot. There you can sign-up for the upcoming school year, and/or ask questions. We would love to have your family!!!

Scout Day at Birmingham Zoo - Oct 8

The Birmingham Zoo is excited to welcome area Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts for a special day at the Zoo. Any scout wearing their uniform will receive $2 off admission for each person in their party. Boy Scouts of America Greater Alabama Council and Girls Scouts of North-Central Alabama will be on hand to greet scouts and share more about their organizations.

Kiwanis Giraffe Feeding* – 9:30am-11:30am

Sea Lion Training – 10:00am

Scout Project Chat – 10:30am

Lorikeet Feeding* – 10:00-3:00pm

Elephant Keeper Chat – 11:00am
