Our motivation stems from our real-world experience: the challenges faced by special needs children and adults in accessing inclusive summer camp experiences. After encountering numerous barriers ourselves, including lack of trained staff and financial constraints, we were inspired to create a solution. Thus, we're establishing a foundation to provide financial aid, ensuring that those like my son Caleb can enjoy summer camp and other experiences alongside their peers, fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion. Purpose: A charity event to raise money to support kids and adults with Autism and other disAbilities in our community through Ady's Big Army
Date: April 6st 2024 from 2pm to 6pm
Venue: Elysian Gardens 101 40th St S, Birmingham, AL 35222
General Admission Tickets: $5 per person (A percentage of food sales from participating vendors goes to Ady's Big Army. Free Event Admission for Kids10 and under:
Food Vendor Fundraisers : Crawfish Vendor (TBA), A&D Wings, Kuntry Kitchen BBQ, The Son of A Butcher Oyster Station. A percentage of Food sales will support Autism awareness and other disabilities . Entertainment: Live music by Classified Alias, Improv Comedy Troupe Show by ETC Audience Participate edition (tentative)
