I know of two powerful instruments that God created to bring people together like no other ways, the table and music.
Sitting at a table, breaking bread together, lowering defenses, allows people to listen to stories... empathy emerges and all of a sudden people who didn't think they had anything in common are sharing a meal together.
Music, those stories become ballads, those emotions become lyrics, set to a melody that can crumble the hardest of our defenses. And when it's the Gospel, the Good News, shared and given to everyone though song... the world can be transformed!
