We are incredibly moved and inspired by the debut of "Voices of Peace Project Sound Track" by the brilliant Robert Childers, a talented student from the Jefferson County International Baccalaureate (JCIB). Robert’s work beautifully captures the heart, rhythm, and vision of this project.

A project like this truly takes a village, and our hearts are full of gratitude. Thank you to everyone who made this collaboration possible:

To the Birmingham Museum of Art: Thank you for your incredible partnership, guidance, and for providing a space where youth creativity can truly shine. Lydia Walker truly went above and beyond.

To our Master Teaching Artists Yogi Dada and Kimberly Gerlach: Deepest gratitude to you for dedicating your time, talent, and passion to mentor and inspire our young artists.

To our participating schools & community: JCIB, Ramsay High School, Shades Valley High School, and YMCA of Greater Birmingham Youth Center: Thank you for opening your doors to Fine Arts Find Life.

To the Alabama State Council on the Arts: Thank you for supporting the arts across Alabama and helping to make opportunities such a these equitable.

To our Student Artists: Thank you for sharing your voices, your stories, and your art with the world. You are the heartbeat of the Voices of Peace Project, and the future is so bright with you leading the way.

The Voices of Peace Project Exhibit is open until May 30th at the Birmingham. Be sure to tag us so we know you stopped by.
