SAVE THE DATE | APRIL 25 ✨

This year, we’ve partnered with Thank You Books to request books that are missing in our library and incarcerated folks have requested. You shop local & our non-profit recieves the donations… it’s a WIN/WIN! Need a space to drop off old books that you never got around to reading or only read once and it seems to be taking up space? consider donating to our library! We only take paperback books in LIKE NEW condition due to the regulations Alabama and Texas prisons have put in place.

Several Books to Prisons volunteers came together last night to support The Alabama Solution and the voices behind it. While Alabama Solutions didn’t take home the Oscar last night, the impact of this documentary is far bigger than a single award. The awareness raised will continue long after the red carpet is rolled up.

Due to regulations that were put into place from the prisons we serve, we are NO LONGER ACCEPTING HARDBACK BOOK DONATIONS. We will gladly take paperback books that fit our criteria: no children's books, in good condition, and no writing, markings or rips in any pages.
