UPDATE: first round sold out in two hours. We will restock on Saturday (time tbd). This will be the only restock. We appreciate all of your support!

For many of us, there isn’t much that’s very merry about this season. In fact, many of us would probably rather just skip to January. Our annual ornament will go live tonight (11/25) at 7pm EST. This is a gift for your precious darling, a tiny bit of love during this holiday season. Our hope is this handmade ornament will serve as a gentle reminder that though we may no longer carry them in our arms, we will forever carry them in our hearts. 🎄

These ornaments are a gift from Cradling Memories. One per family, quantities are limited. Ornaments are reserved for loss parents only. Shipping to US addresses only.

It’s hard to believe it’s [only/already] been four years. I remember every detail of that day like it was yesterday. And at the same time, it feels like an eternity since I’ve kissed your sweet face. No matter the years that pass, you will always be my biggest blessing. You made me stronger than I ever dreamed I could be and you made me softer than I ever imagined I could be. You are loved and missed my sweet boy! Thank you for picking me to be your momma! Happy birthday, Milo. 🎈

One year ago, the doctor called it - time of death: October 19, 2024 at 4:10pm. As I sat bedside, holding his hand, my mom, dad and best friend holding me, my life was forever changed and my heart completely shattered. But it doesn’t compare to the torment that he felt. Physical and emotional pain so large, the only way he thought he could heal was to end it all.

I’ve spent the last 365 days replaying conversations and interactions, trying to make sense of it all. While I have my thoughts of what transpired, I will always be missing the final piece - his voice. A man of few words, his actions spoke loudly. Though he couldn’t save his own life, I’m proud of the man he was - his heart for others, his love of animals, his dedication to his sobriety (10 years) and his overcoming of so many punches life threw his way. I’m not angry at him; I know it wasn’t to hurt me. In some way, I think he thought he was saving me. But more than anything, I wish I would’ve been there to save him.

In the past year, there have been big changes. I sold our home and bought another, moved back to Georgia. Home is good for the heart. Starting in a fresh space but holding him close in everything I do. I wish he could be here for it all, I know he’d be proud.

Wave of Light 2025

Friends, family and loved ones, we invite you to join us in honoring and remembering our babies gone too soon. By lighting a candle at 7pm (local time), you will be joining the worldwide movement as it makes its way around the globe. Though it may seem small, the intentional act of participating has a huge impact on those affected by pregnancy, infant and child loss.

If you’re a friend or loved one lighting a candle in honor of a child that’s not yours, I highly encourage you to share a picture with the family. The feeling of love and support reminds us that you still care, about us, our babies, our pain and grief and our journey forward.

Who are you lighting a candle for?

I never believed in signs until they were the only new memories I had. On what would be our 13th anniversary, the signs were aplenty. I’ve read and reread our text messages a hundred and one times over the past (almost) year, and I have never noticed this timestamp until today. Paired with the strawberry shortcake mishap at dinner, I know he was with me. Even though I feel his presence in all that I do, I could really use one of his big, giant, squeeze too hard bear hugs right now. I love and miss him more than I could ever put into words.

🩷🩵 PAIL 2025 🩵🩷

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time where we come together as a community to share our stories and raise awareness. You will hear many stories throughout the month, and likely feel a wide range of emotions. It’s important to remember to protect your heart; there is no right or wrong way. If participating throughout the month feels best for you, get involved! If socials are too much for your heart, take a break! And if you feel ok one day and broken the next, that’s normal and okay, too!

We love each and every one of you and your sweet babies. Feel free to use the graphics throughout the month! Don’t forget to tag us so we can honor and remember your babes with you!

Let us know who you’re remembering this month!

***depreventionmonth reminds us that talking about su***de isn’t harmful — silence is. While silence can cost lives, a conversation can save them. One honest conversation can be a turning point in someone’s life. Opening up about your mental health journey, the good, bad, or messy, creates space for healing. Studies show people who are having thoughts of su***de feel relief when someone asks about them in a caring way. Let’s replace silence with support, stigma with understanding, and fear with hope. Suicidal thoughts can affect anyone, but no one should face them alone. Learn how to recognize the signs and be there for those who need you. Let’s make silence a thing of the past. Start a conversation. Be the difference. If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available.

We’re back for year 3️⃣… and another year means a new design (or two 😉)

Pregnancy and Infant Loss (PaIL) Awareness Month occurs every October. It is a month set aside to take time to honor those that lost a child during pregnancy or infancy and remember those babies who we carry in our hearts instead of our arms. It is also a dedicated time to raise awareness for the tens of thousands of families devastated by the death of their baby each year.

As PaIL Awareness Month approaches, we will begin taking orders for our custom yard signs. These will be personalized with the name(s) of your choice and ready to display. We’ve also added a second design this year that includes the option to add a picture! As many of us attend various PaIL events throughout the month of October, the signs are easy to transport and can be displayed at those events, too.

The signs are 24”x18”, printed in full color on both sides and come with metal stands. Because they are fully customized before printing, they will be available via pre-order only. Orders will be accepted through 9/7, arriving to you by 10/1. Yard Signs are $35 each, shipping included!

Proofs: This year, you have the option of opting in or out of receiving a proof for review before we submit your order for printing. If you do not wish to receive a proof, your sign will be sent to print upon receipt of payment. If you opt in for reviewing your sign, we will send your proof to the email you provide by 9/12. Once approved by you, we will send your sign to print.
