Bird in Hand Chapter of Referral Partners Plus

Local networking group working together to help each other and our community grow. We are a non-profit helping non-profits.

We meet on a weekly basis so each member will have an opportunity to learn about other member’s businesses, and participate in educationally lead discussions. Referral Partners Plus brings together business professionals and small business owners for mutually beneficial meetings, educational discussions and events, and relationship building opportunities that help each member give back to the comm

Happy Monday Everyone!

We had another packed house this morning. We had a special guest speaker today Michael Lombardo from the Business Alliance Chapter. Michael holds the Realtor category in his chapter. The joy of having Michael as a guest speaker is you never know what type of conversation is going to happen. Instead of speaking about being a realtor and the best type of referral for him, Michael spoke about networking and how every conversation is networking, even when your not trying to network. He stressed the importance of giving not just receiving when it comes to networking. Building the relationships and getting to know the people around you is how you build your network. Michaels knowledge and experience are why he is such an amazing Mentor.

Our education piece was going over the Executive Board meeting that occurred on Wednesday, November 10th 2021. These meetings are always so helpful and important to all the members. The new Executive Board has been voted on and announced for the 2022 year along with all the Chapter Board positions. We always encourage our members to attend. Every member has a voice and by attending you can voice your thoughts.

We did not have any outside guests this morning, however Bill did bring his wife Lisa so we could all get to meet her and become familiar with her in the event she attends any events or meetings. Thank you for joining us today Lisa!

Happy Monday Everyone!

We started our Monday morning with a full house. Big thank you to our Guest Speaker Randall Justice from the Red Rose Chapter. Randall holds the Attorney/Legal Services category in his chapter. It was fun getting to learn how Randall started his love for the justice system early on when he was younger. Reading lots of books and looking for ways to help others was a passion for him. Randall has found becoming a lawyer to be very rewarding for him and ability for him to help others. He talked about the different types of cases he handles and answered some good questions our group had about business law.

Our education piece of the week was finalizing our Chapter Board positions. So proud to be part of a team that has some very enthusiastic members who are willing to dive in and hit the ground running. New members already willing to take on roles and volunteer their time to help. Thank you members for taking the time to be active in the chapter and community.

We also had Debbie Mays from the Lancaster East chapter join us this morning. It was GreAT getting to see you again and all the perfect holiday gift ideas you shared. We also had Bill Carson from B & L Carson Disposal join us this morning for a visit. Bill enjoyed the group so much he said he can't wait to join. So thank you both for visiting.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Today was a wonderful day as we had a fabulous guest speaker from the Lancaster North chapter; Tara WaltmanTara Waltman with Young Living Essential Oils. Tara explained the benefits of introducing essential oils into your every day lifestyle. With holidays coming up, Tara brought in samples of holiday scents that not only make your home or work space smell amazing but have benefits to help with emotional state of mind, internal health and overall well being.

Tara began her journey over 5 years ago and has such a passion for what she does. If your looking for a natural alternative to helping you be the best you, please reach out to Tara. Thank you Tara for visiting and joining us today.

Our education piece of the week was doing a small refresher course on the RPP website. With having 4 new member's it is important to make sure they are comfortable with navigating the website to the fullest extent. We reviewed the resources tab pointing out some of the best links for them to review. We also went over how to properly input a referral and how to find the referrals that the member has sent and received. Everyone was very happy to do the refresher course because even some of the older members didn't realize they had so much access to information.

Such a GreAT meeting this morning. Perfect way to start the week with our RPP family.

Big shoutout to our guest speaker John Erisman. It was wonderful to learn more about you, Stratix Systems and how everyone views referrals. Everyone had amazing input into how we get referrals and what we look for when to help promote our other RPP members. Taking the time to discuss this allowed everyone to learn new opportunities to create a new connection.

For our education piece, our newest member; Paul Chase, also spoke to us about 36 Touch Points. This was a very educational session because it helped to offer new ways and incites on how to connect with our past, current and future clients. There are many programs out there that can help you to fulfill these touch points as well as learning new hands on opportunities. Are you making 36 touch points with your clients?
