A dedication ceremony of a memorial in honor of fallen firefighter Bill Nix will be held at the Thomasville Volunteer Fire Station at 6:30 PM, Monday, April 13, 2026.

Please join us in honoring Bill's memory and the ultimate sacrifice given for his community.

The annual meeting of the Thomasville Eleven Point Valley Community Center will be held in the "long room" of the center, on Monday, April 13, 2026, beginning at 7 PM.
This meeting is open to the community and will include a brief overview of the past year's events.

November 5, 1952 - January 16, 2025

It is impossible to repay Bill's ultimate sacrifice and his gift of service to the Thomasville Volunteer Fire Department and surrounding area. Let us aspire to move forward as Bill did, putting our hearts into tasks serving the good of our community.

We will remember your strength, your courage, and your call. A man forever inspiring us all. A husband, father, grandfather, and friend. A steadfast soul until the end.
