Special shout out to our U10 boys for finishing 1st place overall in their entire division from both sites out of 23 teams!!

Closing out day 1 of the tournament SO proud of all 6 teams across each division!

Only the top 2 teams from each division advance to day 2.

Results of the day starting from the top:

U15 finished 1-1-1 playing all 3 games back to back with only 2 subs. Placed 3rd

U12 girls finished 2-1 placing 2nd and advance to day 2!!

U12 Boys:
Team #1 finished 2-1 Placing 4th
Team #2 Finished 1-1-1 Placing 5th in their bracket of 10 teams

U10 Girls 1-1-1 Placing 4th

And last but certainly not least:

U10 Boys CLEANED HOUSE finishing first in their bracket out of 11 teams, going 3-0 with 19 scored goals and only allowing 1 goal in all three games. They will also advance to day two!!

We are by far one of the smaller regions in our Area, but these kids show up week after week proving they are a force to be reckoned with!

So proud of their hard work today, and good luck to teams advancing to day 2!!

Good luck to all of our interplay teams!!!
They've worked so hard this spring, let's wrap up our season with a beautiful weekend of soccer.

🚨 AREA TOURNAMENT UPDATE 🚨
Reminder ALL Birch Run teams are playing at Holly Davisburg AYSO on Saturday.

If see tournament posts for Saturday mentioning Grand Blanc, that is for other regions in our Area. Day 1 of the tournament is held in 2 locations in order to accommodate everyone.

Answers to frequent questions we've been getting:
⚽ All Games are 40 minutes long.
⚽️All teams are required to check in ONE HOUR prior to their first game. That means arrive more than an hour early! Parking will be crowded and chaotic and it will take time to locate your team
⚽️ Keep an eye on time between games! Any teams who are not ready within 5 minutes of their scheduled game time will automatically forfeit.
⚽️ If you are leaving the complex between games, be ready to walk a long distance when you return. Check in with your coach before leaving so they know where your player will be

⚽ Teams will play 3–4 games depending on bracket placement
⚽ The top 2 teams from each pool will advance to Semi- finals on Sunday. We will post schedule updates as soon as we know them.

⚽️ Tournament days are long, exciting, loud, exhausting, and powered entirely by snacks, snacks and more snacks. 😂
⚽️ Be sure your athlete is refueling and hydrating between games.

There will be a designated area for our 6 teams, coaches will coordinate as the area is set up. We have multiple teams with 8am games that will save space for canopies/ tables.

Remember to represent well, be respectful to the players, other teams, and ESPECIALLY the referees.

Be sure to bring:
✅ LOTS of water
✅ Plenty of snacks and meals
✅ Chairs and blankets
✅ Sunscreen and hats
✅ Extra clothes and layers for changing weather
✅ Anything your player may need between games

Most importantly, prepare your athletes for a long but fun day of soccer. This tournament is about more than just the games—it's about supporting teammates, showing good sportsmanship, building community, and proudly representing Birch Run AYSO all day!

Hello everyone!

Here’s a great chance to assist the soccer community at-large, and support a really great volunteer organization - all at the same time! AYSO is a volunteer youth soccer organization committed to enriching kids’ lives and helping them grow and develop in a safe, positive, fun environment.

Their mid-Michigan communities are collectively called Area G, and it extends all the way from Holly to Birch Run. Holly is co-hosting the annual Area G tournament next Saturday, June 6th, and could really use your help.

Meets NJHS, NHS, and other student clubs that need volunteer summer hours!

PLEASE consider giving a little of your time in order to help make this event a great success; let's show Area G how committed the whole community is to our kids in Holly!

ATTENTION 12yr old and up:
Open Summer Soccer! Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. MGMS PAVILLION 5pm - 7pm. Starts June 9th Ends July 30. Dead week June 29 - July 5. Bring proper soccer gear like cleats, shinguards, large water bottle with water, socks that cover shingaurds. Yes, Shinguards are mandatory during contact play. Spread the word to your teammates. Get those incoming freshmen out. Open to all 12yr old and up.

We are in need of a dedicated space for equipment and uniforms in the off season. If you have garage, barn, shed or basement space available, please let us know!

We've talked to the Park about putting up a shed to store items on-site but it hasn't been a viable option at this time.
