Samaritan House

Samaritan House Samaritan House - Binghamton, NY is a community-based center dedicated to addressing the human needs and concerns experienced by Broome County Residents.

Samaritan House was founded by Monsignor Paul A. Brigandi of St. Mary of the Assumption and Sister Kathleen Duncan of Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. We have been helping people in the Broome County area since 1997 and have helped over 13,000 families. In the past year, over 500 new clients have been served in addition to those already existing. One of our main priorities is children and now

clothe over 200 children a month. With the help of our dedicated volunteers who devote on average over 600 hours a month, we are able to help everyone who comes to our door.

We provide household furnishings, children's clean usable clothing, and miscellaneous items such as appliances, personal hygiene products and toiletries. We accept clean, usable household furnishings, baby and children items, hygiene products and financial donations from caring, generous donors
