Did you know, many years ago deputies from the Broome County Sheriff's Office were responsible for taking sick and injured patients to the hospital with a Sheriff Ambulance? In 1976, Broome Volunteer Emergency Squad formed and took over the great responsibility of providing life saving care to our community. With the advancements in vehicles, technology, techniques and education - BVES has provided excellent emergency medical services to our area. Please support them in their efforts and celebrating 50 years of patient care!
