International Welcome Center for 80 years
The American Civic Association was founded in 1939 by a group of immigrants who had a passion to help their fellow immigrants settle in the Binghamton area, and almost 80 years later, we at the American Civic Association are proud to continue their legacy. We are still immigrant-led, and we continue to “Build Bridges of Understanding” by giving immigrants and refugees the tools they need to integrate into the Binghamton community, and providing a multicultural center for peoples of all nationalities to meet, learn about each other, and find common ground.
