We recently made a $6,000 grant to Cornell Cooperative Extension-Broome County in support of its Women in Agriculture Network. This program brings together women who engage in farming as a business, and supports them through education and peer-to-peer networking. Farm tours and virtual and in-person training gives women insights into the production, marketing, financial, human resources, and legal aspects of the farming business.

Today is Women's Equality Day, which this year celebrates the 106th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, affirming the right of women to vote throughout the U.S. This was a landmark moment in the history of women's rights, of democracy, and of the nation, but there is still plenty of work left to do. The Women's Fund is determined and proud to do our part. 🇺🇸🗳
