🍁🥕 Local maple syrup is making its way into our school meals!

Last week, our districts purchased 60 1/2 gallons of delicious local maple syrup from Lawtons Maple. We’re excited to use it in some of our roasted vegetable recipes, adding a touch of local flavor and sweetness to school lunch. 🍽️✨

And this Wednesday, students get to taste it! Our NY Maple Sweet Brussels Sprouts & Carrots will be featured on the K-8 school lunch menu, made with delicious local maple syrup. 🍁🥕😋

We are overjoyed to have helped make this connection with Lawtons Maple and our 15 partner school districts with Rock on Café! Students attending all of the Broome-Tioga BOCES school districts will have the chance to taste this locally produced maple syrup on Wednesday's lunch menu, featuring NY Maple Sweet Brussel Sprouts and Baby Carrots. 🥕🍁

Our September Farm to School Taste Test results are in! 🥕

Thank you Union-Endicott Central School District for welcoming us to Tiger Ventures last week! Several students helped harvest, wash, and chop produce from the school garden that was used in the Pasta Fagioli. Feedback from students helps shape future menus and inspire fresh, delicious offerings in the cafeteria.
