The Student Volunteer Center and Southern Tier Solar Works of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County have organized a 5k Fun Run/Walk fundraiser and charity event to celebrate 2014’s giving season. The run will be held 1pm-5pm on Sunday, November 16th, 2014 on Binghamton University’s campus. Participants will be encouraged to wear as many layers of clothing as possible so that a piece can
be removed at various donation stations throughout the course of the run. Those interested can run as an individual or compete as part of a team and try to donate as much weight in clothing as possible throughout the run. Each layer of clothing removed during the run will be donated to the Broome County Urban League's Urban Star Vintage Boutique. Proceeds from the event will go towards non-profit community education programs. (Race participants will be required to wear a piece of clothing at all times at this event—absolutely NO nudity will be permitted). Early Registration:
$10 for faculty/staff/community members
$5 for students
$8/person for groups of 5 or more
Kids under 16 are free
Any non-BU students under 18 need supervision
Late Registration (week of):
$15 right before for general members
$10 late registration for students
