Congratulations to Chenango Valley graduate Delaney Walters on an incredible high school career, capped off with a state championship title in the high jump!

Best of luck to Delaney as she continues her academic and athletic career at Marist College alongside her twin sister, who also had an outstanding season and earned a place at the state championships. We can’t wait to see what you both accomplish next!

Pickleball season is here at the Southern Tier Community Center.

Our Youth Pickleball sessions bring children ages 8 to 18 onto the court three Saturdays this July to learn the game and build confidence, and on August 1 the whole family is invited to Family Glow Ball for an afternoon of glow-in-the-dark play with prizes and giveaways. Want to try it first?

Join us for free outdoor pickleball at the STCC BBQ on July 23. This programming stays affordable for families across our community thanks to the Broome County Youth Bureau and our partners at Southern Tier Pickleball.

Uneath a Story with vibrant learning adventures designed just for our youngest explorers and their caregivers! These fun, hands-on programs offer tailored activities for ages 0–1 and 2–5, including Dino Crafts, Messy Art Day, and Sensory Bin Exploration. Sensory play helps boost brain development, motor skills, and social interaction—giving your child a head start in learning. Don’t miss out on these exciting and enriching experiences!

We're kicking things off with dinosaur craft stations on Monday, July 6. Children ages 2–5 and their caregivers are invited to explore a variety of dinosaur-themed craft stations.
