We are absolutely thrilled to celebrate cellist Leland Ko, who just won Third Prize (the Count de Launoit Prize) at the prestigious 2026 Queen Elisabeth Competition! Cheng Wei (Ashley) Lim is the newly appointed principal harp of the Binghamton (New York) Philharmonic Orchestra. “I’m thrilled to join the Binghamton Philharmonic and look forward to making music with such a passionate and talented group of musicians,” Lim says. “I’m especially excited to connect with the community through inspiring performances and to contribute to the ensemble’s artistry, energy, and continued growth in the seasons ahead.”

Please join us in welcoming the newest members of our Philharmonic Family: Mira Williams (Principal Viola) and Ashley Lim (Principal Harp)! 🎶

Mira Williams comes to us from the New England Conservatory and the Guildhall School. She has performed with the London Philharmonic and Chineke! Orchestra, and is a proud Sphinx MPower grant recipient.

Ashley Lim joins us after serving as Principal Harpist for The Orchestra Now at Bard. An accomplished soloist and technician, she has graced stages from Carnegie Hall to the Buffalo Philharmonic.

We are thrilled to have their world-class talent in Binghamton. Welcome, Mira and Ashley! ✨
