Jessica Pullis (Mrs. Wright/She)

Jessica is thrilled to be back with the Savoyards at the beautiful Bundy Museum! She was recently seen in “A Christmas Carol” (Mrs. Cooper/Fezziwig/Cratchit) with BLAST at the Cider Mill Stage. Most recently Jessica has performed with the Savoyards in “Princess Ida” (Lady Blanche,) “London Assurance” (Lady Gay Spanker) and “Ruddigore” (Dame Hannah). Some of her favorite roles include: “Patience” (Jane) with Cornell Savoyards & Summer Savoyards; “Chicago” (Matron “Mama” Morton) Cider Mill Playhouse, “Annie” (Miss Hannigan) EPAC, “It’s Only a Play” (Julia Budder) BLAST; and “Steel Magnolias” (M’Lynn) Ti-Ahwaga Players.

John Montgomery (He)

John is making his fourth appearance with the Summer Savoyards, most recently as Adolphus Spanker in “London Assurance”. Since being discovered doing standup comedy in a Binghamton bar, he has acted on radio, film, TV commercials, YouTube and on stage in productions by the Cider Mill Stage, Southern Tier Actor’s Read and Presentarts. John would like to thank Julia for this opportunity and his family for keeping him humble

Julia Adams (Director)

Julia Adams has been working with the Summer Savoyards for almost 2 decades, and is thrilled to be directing for the Savoyards again this year. Julia has a degree in Costume and Fashion Design from Binghamton University, and is owner of FaerieGoddmother Customs for the last 15 years. Julia first directed “Ruddigore” in 2023, then “The Pirates of Penzance” this past summer. Julia is excited to bring these one-acts to life and spotlight female playwrights. She would like to thank the cast and crew for their hard work and dedication, and her family for their love and support.

Franklin Krongold (George Henderson - County Attorney)

Franklin is thrilled to be performing the role of George Henderson in “Trifles.” He first caught the acting bug when he played a bartender in “My Fair Lady,” during his junior year of high school, and has been at it ever since. He has performed for many years with the Tri-Cities Opera chorus, the Binghamton Downtown Singers, and the Summer Savoyards, and recently made his SRO Productions III debut. He would like to thank his parents for all their love, support, and chauffeuring, and to thank the cast and crew for all their hard work. Break a leg, everyone!

Barbara Ulrich (Charge Painter/Props Construction)

Barbara (Mrs. Evil Jim) has been a member of the Savoyards since 1981, thanks to that cute guy (Jim) she was friends with. She's been working mostly in the shop since then, where she rather enjoys painting the sets. More recently she has also been constructing props, and is particularly known for her realistic-looking fake mounted animal heads.

Let's meet the cast of "Love & Murder: An Evening of Female Playwrights"

Ryder Paugh (Lewis Hale)

Ryder plays the role of Lewis Hale who is a farmer and friend of John Wright in the show “Trifles.” This is his debut with the Summer Savoyards and he is incredibly thankful to the wonderful director, Julia Adams, for giving him this opportunity. Ryder’s previous roles include Valentine in “Two Gentlemen of Verona,” a rock in “The Tempest,” and Silvius in “As You Like It” all with Half Light Theatre. He would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him in this endeavor. He would specifically like to thank his fiancé for being a massive help with this, and their cat Ripple for a source of support. Enjoy the show!

River Pullis (Henry Peters - Sheriff)

River has been acting with the Summer Savoyards since 2018’s “The Pirates of Penzance.” She has been an actor at Reapers Revenge since 2022 and has played The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come for the past 4 years in The Cider Mill Stage's “A Christmas Carol.” River was the fight choreographer for “She Kills Monsters” at SUNY Broome in fall 2024, choreographing 10 group fights in just one show! River is excited to be involved in this production of “Trifles” and all future shows that may come her way.

Evil Jim Ulrich (Set Designer & Master Carpenter)

Evil Jim was decanted in 1961, and continues to perform evil deeds. Set designs can be particularly evil. In all seriousness, though, Jim has been a Savoyard since the 1978 production of “The Mikado.” He has worn many hats with the organization over the years, including chorus member, set crew flunky, lighting designer, master carpenter, and set designer. He has also served on the board several times, and is currently the treasurer.
