💜 It’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month — Survivors Can’t Wait. 💜

Domestic violence programs provide critical services to survivors and families, including emergency shelter, advocacy, safety planning, supportive services, and help rebuilding their lives.

Congress must urge the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to expedite the release of congressionally approved Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) and Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) funding.

Delays in federal funding can put survivor services at risk and create uncertainty for the programs and professionals survivors rely on.

Contact your members of Congress and tell them that timely funding for domestic violence and survivor services matters.
