Binghamton HKES Our goal is to introduce Hong Kong culture to Binghamton University by organizing cultural events!

Hong Kong Exchange Square (HKES) was found in Binghamton University in 1994. Our objective is to introduce Hong Kong culture to all the communities in Binghamton University. We strive to achieve this focus by organizing cultural as well as social events to bring students together to have a better understanding about Hong Kong. We are a Binghamton University Student Association chartered club. We p

ut forth events like karaoke night, dinners, the mid-autumn festival celebration, tournaments, etc. The biggest event we have is the HKES Street Fair which takes place during the Spring semester. The aim of this event is to share the fascinating Hong Kong culture through a series of performances and skits. Hong Kong is a fascinating place with a long history extremely diverse cultures, and we would like everyone to learn as much as they can about it!

If you’ve ever been in a car with Dylan, you already know you’re about to get a completely free TED Talk on whales 🐋💀. whale facts that you’ll probably never use again. As our Vice President, Dylan somehow manages to balance pre-law 📚, driving literally everywhere 🚗, playing poker ♠️, listening to music older than half of HKES 🎶, watching anime 🇯🇵, and making those legendary Resorts Syracuse trips 🎰. We also have to give a shoutout to the legendary “trap house.” 💀 Don’t let the name fool you—it’s basically the HKES spot. Despite all the gambling, Dylan’s always someone you can count on.
