Our STMTA High School and Middle School Competition will be held on Saturday, March 23 at Binghamton University. The Winners Recital will be held on Sunday, March 24 at 7:30 pm at Casadesus Recital Hall, Binghamton University and is open to the public. Come and support our fabulous young musicians! Saturday Night, February 15 at 7:00 pm at the Maine-Endwell Middle School, the Binghamton Community Orchestra will be featuring our STMTA High School Competition Winners. Students can attend for free! See you there!

A new year for STMTA begins!

Our General Membership meeting will be held on Sunday evening at 6:00 pm on September 23rd at the home of Holly Milano. Please check our website, www.stmta.org, if you need to print out a membership renewal form.

Our Board Meeting will be held on Sunday, September 16th at 7:00 pm.

The Students & Teachers Musical Talent Array held on June 10th was such a success on many levels! Thank you to the students and teachers who gave extra time to rehearsals and made our program great. Thank you to Katrina Kemmery (our Chair) and all of those who helped her make this both a successful fundraiser and a memorable event for the performers. Most of all, thank you to all who purchased tickets and raffle baskets to help support our High School Competition and our Summer Scholarship Program.

Our June Student Recital will be held on June 3, 2012 at 1:30 pm. There will also be an STMTA fundraiser at Pizzeria Uno's in Vestal. 15-20% of proceeds of your bill will go to the STMTA for our yearly projects if you present a coupon when you pay your bill.

The STMTA presents Students & Teachers Musical Talent Array on June 10, 2012 at 7:00 pm at Binghamton University at Casadesus Recital Hall. Come and see the area's finest students perform great music with the area's most revered teachers!!

Just to clarify, these were the 1st and 2nd prize winners for the STMTA High School and Middle School Music Competition, and the Final concert was the Winners Recital. We also had some amazing Honorable Mentions: Rachael Ann Longacre, Gregory Santa Croce, Coco Heitman, Patrick Tombs, Brooke Bart, Alec Targett, Kit Ying Cheng, Sean Yang, Katie Perry, Holden LaPadula.

STMTA Final concert was unbelievable!!! All categories were so strong and all winners were fantastic, poised and performed beautifully. Congratulations to the two Concerto Winners: pianist Marci Rose and soprano Jenny Robble.
Also, congratulations to Troy Palmer, Hannah Satrobski, Beth Moffit, Emily Bartz, Miranda Werner, and Eli Holmes.
