North Side Roots will be collecting donations at the Lee Barta Community Center to benefit a Liberty Street family that lost all their possessions earlier this month from an electrical fire. North Side Roots is a collective of residents working to make a difference in the Liberty Street area neighborhood.
Below is a list of specific household and clothing items that are most needed:
• Kitchen items: pots and pans, silverware, dishes, cups
• Bedding items: full sheets, twin sheets, blankets, Pack and Play crib/playpen
• Children’s clothing and shoes: boys clothing size 2T and shoes size 7C, girls clothing 18-24 months & shoes size 5C, boys pants size 7 and shoes size 8 1/2
• Adult clothing and shoes: men’s pants 38”x30” and 32”x30”, men’s shirts size M, L and XL, men’s shoes size 11, women’s pants size 16-18 and XL, women’s shirt L and XL, women’s shoes size 6 ½ and 8 ½.
Donations can be dropped off at the Lee Barta Community Center, 108 Liberty St Binghamton, at the following times:
o Wednesday July 1st from 3pm-6:30pm
o Thursday July 2nd from 3pm-5pm
