🔥 October is Fire Prevention Month! 🔥

Throughout the month, our members will be out in the community participating in several events and helping spread important fire safety information.

This month, take a few minutes to make sure your family is prepared:

🧯 Check your smoke and CO alarms and make sure they are working properly.
🏠 Have an evacuation plan and make sure everyone in your household knows two ways out.
🔋 Practice lithium-ion battery safety — this year's focus is on understanding the risks associated with lithium-ion batteries and using them safely.

Fire prevention starts at home. A few minutes of preparation today could make a life-saving difference tomorrow.

Last evening crews were dispatched to a car fire on RT17E.
Upon arrival the vehicle was fully involved. Squad 63 stretched a line to extinguish and the fire was brought under control within minutes.
Although all thier belongings were lost, the occupants made it out safely thanks to one young man.
