Mission and Vision
The Foundation’s mission is to support innovation, service and quality at UHS by educating the community, attracting donors and managing gifts wisely. Our vision is to become the region’s health-related charitable organization of choice based on the communication of our cause, the care and service we provide to our donors, and the stewardship of the gifts entrusted to us.

She is truly proud of the role UHS plays in caring for our community and feels honored to help connect our clinical teams with the patients and families who trust us with their care. 💙

We are incredibly grateful for the compassion, dedication, and lasting commitment shown to our community and to UHS over the years. 🫶

The Binghamton General Auxiliary was established in 1896 as the Women’s Board of Binghamton City Hospital, and the UHS Wilson Medical Center Auxiliary began in 1929 as the Wilson Memorial Guild. Together, these devoted groups have made extraordinary contributions to UHS—supporting the NICU, Cardiac Care Unit, operating room equipment, physical therapy, and cardiac rehabilitation.

Beyond financial support, the Auxiliaries have enriched our hospitals through vendor sales, staff appreciation events, plant and used book sales, hospital gift shops, and the beloved coffee shop at BGH. Thank you for everything! 💗

A Wicked Good time was had at this year's Emerald Gala! ✨💚

On Friday, May 1, our guests enjoyed an evening of delicious food, cocktails and desserts, all while bidding on a great selection of auction items.

On April 21st and 22nd, we hosted our annual Empty Bowl Events! 🥗🧇

THANK YOU to everyone who attended in support of hunger relief in our area. 💚

The $25 ticket cost goes to support hunger relief in our area, with $20 of each ticket going to the Food Bank of the Southern Tier and $5 going to the UHS Foundation’s STOP Hunger fund.

And a huge thank you to Compass Group and Roberson Clayworks for your amazing support of this great cause!
