I apologize if I'm not keeping up with post the last few days but my cat had a distemper shot and he should not have had that because he has inflammatory bowel so the vet apologized and has been paying all the expenses. But he has not ate by himself for 5 days I have been syringing him food and water every 3- 4 hours to keep him alive. The oncologist and the vet will be talking today. He's on nausea medication, steroids and on appetite inducers and still not eating on his own. I feed him in the morning twice and water and his pills and then I come home everyday at lunch and feed him and give him an appetite inducer. Then do the same thing after work 3 more times and wake up at 1:00 in the morning with my alarm to feed him again until 6:00 a.m.and start all over 😢. I'm doing everything I possibly can to keep him alive and get him back to being healthy. Before the distemper shot he was gaining weight looking good his eyes were clear he was playing with his toys now he's doing none of that.
I am exhausted so I do apologize if I'm not responding like yesterday but I am reading your comments.
