February 14 is the last day to change your party enrollment for the 2026 New York primary election!
Your change must be received by your Board of Elections by Feb. 14.

New York has closed primaries, which means you can only vote if you’re registered with a party holding a primary. Unaffiliated voters are not eligible.

The CCE will accept paper voter registration forms until 3 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13. Stop by the Center for Civic Engagement (UU-137) to complete or drop off a form before the deadline.

Today, November 4, is Election Day!
Polls are open from 6 a.m.–9 p.m. in New York

Registered to vote with your on-campus address?
Students who live on campus and are registered with their on-campus address will vote in the UU-Mandela Room.

Registered to vote with your off-campus address?
Off-campus students registered with an address in Broome County will vote at a polling place near their residence. Find your polling location online.

Registered in NY but forgot to update your address?
You can still vote! Go to the polling place for your current local address and request an affidavit ballot.

Voting via mail-in ballot?
Your NY mail-in ballot must be postmarked by Election Day (November 4). Mail-in ballots can also be dropped off at any poll site in the county in which you are registered. (Note: You cannot drop off an absentee ballot from another county at the campus polling place or any other polling place in Broome County.)

Be an informed voter!
Not sure who is on the ballot? Visit the Center for Civic Engagement’s website using the link in our bio for more information.
