Are you passionate about social justice, gender equality, climate justice, and research that creates real impact?

The Kaschak Institute is seeking a Lead Researcher to oversee student research projects, mentor a team of researchers, and contribute to meaningful work that supports women and girls locally and globally.

✨ Gain hands-on research experience
✨ Develop leadership and presentation skills
✨ Build your professional network
✨ Work alongside dedicated faculty, staff, and students

Wrapping up the 2025–26 school year feeling really grateful for this community we built 💚

This year we hosted events, attended conferences, worked on community projects, supported clean energy initiatives, welcomed new students, and created so many opportunities for students to learn outside the classroom. None of it would’ve been possible without our amazing students, ambassadors, faculty, partners, and alumni.

We’re hiring for the 2026–2027 academic year ✨

Join the Kaschak Institute team and help advance work at the intersection of social justice, climate action, sustainability, and women’s empowerment. We’re looking for passionate, creative, and motivated students ready to make an impact on campus and beyond.
Open positions include:
🌎 Carbon Challenge Project Assistant
📱 Communications Assistant
🎓 Graduate Assistant
📣 Federal Work Study Student Assistant
We are also welcoming volunteers interested in supporting Institute events, outreach, research, communications, and sustainability initiatives.

At the Kaschak Institute, students gain hands-on experience, professional networking opportunities, and the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that create real change.

A few weeks ago 8 students from the Kaschak Institute went on a 3 day research trip to Niagara Falls. Students learned about the history of Love Canal Superfund Site, government and environmental issues, as well as learning how to conduct research. Thank you for attending!
