Calling all youth artists and changemakers 🌎🎨 We’re inviting students (elementary through college!) to submit an original T-shirt design for Earth Fest: Live at Recreation Park 2026. This year’s theme is “Act now for our futures!”. Show us what climate action, community, and hope look like to you!

Design Rules:
• Draw on white 8.5” x 11” paper
• Trace final lines in pen/black marker (designs printed in black & white linework)
• Include: “Live at Rec Park: Earthfest 2026” in your design
• On the BACK: name, grade, school
• Choose a shirt color: red, blue, green, yellow, or black
• ONE submission per student
• No AI-generated designs, original artwork ONLY

How to submit:
• Grade school students: turn in to your teacher
• College students: Submit via the Google Form by scanning QR or link in bio
• Teachers/faculty participating must also fill out the form
• All participants receive a free Earth Fest sticker

DEADLINE: April 1st

🏆 Winning design will be printed on official volunteer shirts + sold at the event, and the winner receives a pizza party voucher from Nirchi's Pizza 🍕

Join Our Documentary & Photovoice Event – March 21, 2025 (Friday)! 🎥

📍 Location: Fine Arts 258, Anderson Fine Arts Building, Binghamton University

Experience a powerful community event featuring the screening of Flooding in Yellowstone, a documentary chronicling the 1-in-500-year flood that transformed Yellowstone National Park and its surrounding gateway communities. In addition, explore photovoice storytelling from both Yellowstone & Binghamton—sharing real stories of resilience, loss, and hope from those directly affected.

Program:
4:00 – 5:00 PM: Open reception with refreshments
5:00 – 6:00 PM: Documentary Screening with a Brief Introduction
6:00 – 6:30 PM: Q&A Session

Join us 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝟳𝗽𝗺 at Spool Contemporary Art Space, 138 Baldwin St., Johnson City for "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆: 𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸" presented by Art Bridgman and Myrna Packer of Bridgman | Packer Dance and moderated by David Mixter, Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at BU.

In addition to providing an introduction to this Johnson City centered project, this talk will touch on the collaborative practice that went into the creation of Ghost Factory and the oral history project Places with Hidden Stories.

This event, along with the performance of Ghost Factory and presentation of Places with Hidden Stories at 7pm on Saturday night (9/7) at the Binghamton Forum Theater, was generously supported in part by Binghamton 2 Degrees.
