This center was founded on July 16, 2013, and is, at this time, an online resource center that is in place to gather the information of other Mississippi based LGBT organizations, busi

Second Chance Prom — Community Interest Poll

Gulf Coast Equality is exploring the idea of hosting another Second Chance Prom, and we want to hear from you!

A Second Chance Prom is an inclusive, celebratory event for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies who may have missed their original prom or didn’t feel safe expressing their true selves at the time.

This event would be a chance to celebrate freely, dress however you feel most comfortable (including gender-nonconforming formal wear), and bring the partner of your choice without fear of judgment or discrimination. Whether you want to relive the prom experience or finally have the one you deserved, this event is about community, joy, and authenticity.
