From the desk of Dr Stephanie Dukes and Counseling with Care
God Willing, I would always hear my parents and grandparents say "God willing", and then me being myself would say God will or it's God's will for such and such. But I read this verse this morning and it explains why I now say and why my parents and grandparents said God willing.
So here's a little nugget for you.
JAMES 5:15 reads " Instead, you should say, " if the Lord wills we will live and do this or that, but as it is you boast in your arrogance all such boasting is evil, so it is sin to know good and yet not do it." Read verses 13 and 14 and this will make more sense to you.
Let's commit our days to the Lord and His will. For only He knows what He has planned for us; when we follow His will we are protected and prosper and can be a blessing to others. Be blessed today

Happy Mother's Day to the most beautiful mother in the world. Jeanette G Stevens I know you going to be mad at me for posting this picture but it made me happy and reminded me of so many of our wonderful times. I didn't have any biological sisters but I didn't need them because I had you. You've always been my mother, sister, best friend and I love you.
