Mississippi Coast Special Needs Soccer Association, Inc. MCSNSA's goal is to promote a fun, safe, and enjoyable environment for all individuals, including individuals who use wheelchairs and walkers.

This is a place for special needs individuals to participate on a team. It doesn't matter the disability. Anyone with special needs is welcome here. It allows those individuals to be part of a team and learn to socialize and make friends. And just to have fun. We have teams to meet the needs of all abilities and levels of playing. We try to provide this program to players at little or no cost. We

are always seeking volunteers, coaches, sponsors, and donations. This depends on the support from individuals or businesses within or outside the community. We are open toall special needs individuals in the lower 6 counties. We also have closing ceremonies at the end of the season where the players are awarded trophies. Tuesday, June 4 โ€” 10:00 AM: Community event. Ms. Mikkah from the MSU Extension 4โ€‘H program will present on camping safety and lead hands on STEM activities for children.

Wednesday, June 10 โ€” 10:00 AM: Community event. Girl Scouts will discuss camping safety and Leave No Trace principles.

Saturday, June 13 โ€” 10:00 AM: Music time with Ms. Felicia. We will sing camp songs and enjoy a guided โ€œbear huntโ€ activity.

Huge thank you to Summer Wilton and Jenny Obregon for representing Embrace Abilities on WXXV 25 Morning News and helping spread the word about our upcoming Sibshop. We are lucky to have Summer as part of our team, and we love getting to team up with her through her organization Happy Coast Families to bring something fun and actually helpful to local families.

Next Saturdayโ€™s Sibshop is summer camp themed and it is going to be a fun one. Activities will include tie-dye and water balloons, plus cotton candy and ice cream.โ€ There is still time to sign up.

And just so families know, there is no fee to participate. Our sponsors help cover the cost so it is never a barrier. In a world where their siblingโ€™s needs often come first, these siblings deserve space too. A place to connect, feel understood, and just be kids.
