We got almost the whole CAMP BLUE cadre to the conference. We will get the whole team next year down there in our green shirts to represent.

The delegation of SROs from Montana who got to attend the National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) national conference in Reno this week. It had been a great week of learning, sharing and networking with other SROs from around the country and internationally.

Well folks that is a wrap on CAMP BLUE this year. Almost 70 students through 2 weeks of camp (almost tripling or numbers from last year). We want to thank Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office, Stillwater County Sheriff's Office, and Billings Police Department for allowing our SROs for putting in hundreds of hours combined into the camp.

We played tons of games, challenged the students minds with problem solving activities, got them to demonstrate positive attitudes and leadership skills, step out of thier comfort zones doing difficult physical tasks, and built life long friendships.

We could not do any of this without our founding sponsor Rimrock Credit Union. They have gone above and beyond for this camp and we hope everyone with understand how important they are to the community and support them any chance they get.

Also a huge shout out to Franz Bakery for their huge donation the last two weeks. Without them our lunches would have definitely been boring.

Thank you Billings Public Schools for allowing us to use a school again.

Here is to bigger and better next year!!!!!!

The 2026 8th grade CAMP BLUE graduation ceremony is scheduled to take place at 2 pm at Riverside Middle School in the gym. We welcome all parents and family members to join us. Please park on the east side of the building on WASHINGTON (not the front doors).

We wrapped up the day with the students completing the MPAT fitness testing in a team-based format. The final team competition results will be revealed tomorrow.

The end of our morning was a new piece added by the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office by bringing in Air 1. The students got to see it up close with an awesome tour.

Our morning began with an introduction to several law enforcement units. We observed demonstrations by the drone and hostage negotiator teams and were familiarized with their equipment and tactics.

Thank your for the best CHEF commanders in our county. Assistant Chief Mayo, Captain Wooley, and Sheriff O’Donnell came out to cook burgers and dogs.

The students got to learn the risks and dangers of being totally intoxicated while participating in activities with our super fun impairment goggles. Thanks to the Breakfast Flakes Cat Country 102.9 for purchasing these for our students.
