Some people don't just talk about making a difference...they roll up their sleeves and make it happen. Justin is one of those people!
Congratulations on the incredible milestone of raising $500,000 through Books for Kids, putting 250,000 books into the hands of elementary students throughout our community. What an extraordinary accomplishment!
Justin's passion for literacy, his unwavering commitment to kids, and his heart for our community inspire all of us. We are especially honored to have him serve as a member of our Yellowstone Valley Gives Community Champion Committee, where he continues to encourage generosity and strengthen the nonprofit community across Yellowstone County.
Justin, thank you for caring so deeply about our community and for showing what's possible when one person is willing to dream big and bring others alongside them. We are cheering you on and wish you nothing but continued success as Books for Kids reaches even more children in the years ahead.

Over the last six years of fundraising, Books For Kids has now raised $500,000! That’s 250,000 books that have been purchased for elementary students around the Billings area. Holy cow.
I've been sitting here trying to find the words to write about this achievement. I am truly humbled by the generosity of this community in all ways. This goes for big fundraising events like Yellowstone Valley Gives, Relay For Life, Special Olympics, and Saturday Live, to smaller events like PTA bake sales and Community Mondays at Hooligans. When it’s time to raise money, this community knows how to give!
Thank you to everyone who chooses us. I know that there is always someone asking for donations, so I don’t take your gifts for granted! With every fiber of my being, THANK YOU!

$18 sponsors one student to get a book each month of the 2026-27 school year. That’s nine books that each student will take home with them to add to their home libraries. Our friends at Education Foundation for Billings Public Schools want to celebrate this milestone with us. They will match all donations through July 10, up to $5,000 total!!
Education Foundation knows the importance of literacy and getting books in the hands of children. They run an amazing summer program called Reading Rocks in city parks. Make sure you go to their page and find the schedule and join them for an event!!
