🎃👻 Fun Halloween Fact! 👻🎃

Did you know that the tradition of dressing up for Halloween comes from an ancient Celtic festival called Samhain? People believed that on October 31st, the boundary between the living and the dead was blurred — so they wore costumes to disguise themselves from wandering spirits! 👀✨

What started as a spooky superstition has turned into one of our favorite parts of the season — from cute costumes to full-blown fright-night creativity. 🧛‍♀️🦸‍♂️🐈‍⬛

Our Haunted Hallows event is just around the corner, and we’re looking for brave souls who love a good scare — not as victims, but as the ones doing the scaring! 💀

Each year, our haunted experience comes to life thanks to an incredible group of volunteers who help transform the park into a chilling maze of screams, laughter, and unforgettable memories. This time, we’re turning up the terror — and we need you to help make it happen!

If you’ve ever wanted to jump out of the shadows, perfect your creepy laugh, or play the part of a ghostly figure lurking in the dark, this is your chance. No acting experience required — just enthusiasm, energy, and a love for all things spooky. We’ll provide costumes, makeup, and a few haunting tips to help you bring your character to (un)life. 🕯️

A special thank-you goes to the JC organization for the years of dedication that made this event such a beloved tradition—we’re honored to carry it forward. And to our volunteers, sponsors, and neighbors who have already stepped up to help, we couldn’t do this without you!

We are excited to announce that we have been working with the Billings Jaycees to learn what it takes to put on an awesome haunted experience for the spooks and goblins of Billings. While we are sad to see them go we are excited for the future of the Haunted Hallows experience and look forward to seeing everyone for a Spooktacular night! We want to thank the Jaycees for their help and support during the changeover.
