For $100 each, you can sponsor a flag in honor of a veteran and create a powerful, personal tribute. Each flag will feature a laminated tag recognizing their service, including their name, branch, rank, war or conflict, honors, and life dates. After the September Field of Flags event, the flag becomes yours—a meaningful keepsake honoring their legacy for years to come.

So awesome that The Wall That Heals is coming to Billings! They are seeking volunteers, click the link to help out if you can. 🇺🇲

The Wall That Heals is a 3/4 scale replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC. It is coming back to Billings this year, one of only about 20 cities in the nation, and will need volunteers 24/7 during the week that it is in town.

Memorial Day was never about a long weekend.

It started in the years after the Civil War, when towns across America gathered at gravesites to lay flowers and read names out loud. The point was simple. Don't let anyone disappear.

That's still the work today. Say the names. Tell the stories. Make sure the children in our communities know who they're walking past in the cemetery.

The Exchange Club has spent more than a century honoring service. Today we honor the ones who paid the highest price for it.

This weekend carries a weight that many of us cannot fully understand.

For the veterans in our communities, Memorial Day is more than a date on the calendar. It is the faces they remember. The names they still speak aloud. The brothers and sisters who never came home.

At Exchange Clubs across the country, we hold space for that grief and that gratitude. We gather at Freedom Shrines. We stand quietly at gravesides. We listen.

This weekend, let us be present for the veterans in our lives. A phone call. A handwritten note. A seat saved at the table.

Behind every uniform is a story of courage, sacrifice, and devotion to something greater than self. Their service is the foundation that allows our communities to thrive, our families to gather, and our freedoms to endure.
