Billings JSEC The Job Service Employer Committee (JSEC) is a volunteer organization of over 200 employers who serve on local committees through the State.

How does involvement with
JSEC benefit my business?

1. JSEC is an information exchange between employers and government. Through JSEC, employers interact with local Job Service staff and network with other employers concerning personnel needs and initiatives. At the JSEC sponsored seminars, meetings and the annual conference, information is exchanged to help businesses operate more effectively.


2. JSEC helps find jobs for people and people for jobs. JSEC brings employers and Montana Job Service staff together to identify the employment-related needs of the community. Accomplishments of JSEC

• Facilitated the Jobs Jamboree Job Fair each spring for the past 21 years.

• Presented various seminars on employment related topics.


• Annually awards two, $1,000 scholarships to High School graduates.

• Billings JSEC has been awarded the Montana State JSEC of the Year for 1993, 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2012.
