The legacy & longevity of this program lives on through these recipients and the progeny of the original heifer granted to them. We look forward to seeing many of our past recipients back at the Progeny Pen Parade this fall!

NILE Merit Heifer Calf Spotlight🤩🤩

Teah Vennes of Wilsall, MT was a 2023 NILE Merit Heifer Recipient. Her original heifer, Lorrie Darlin, was generously donated by 3C Cattle Company of Stevensville, MT. Also pictured is Lorrie Darlin's first calf, Dove, with her calf.

Fun Fact: Teah & Lorrie Darlin were named the 2023 Top Herdsman and Top Recordbook!

Madison Lafley of Deer Park, WA was a 2025 NILE Merit Heifer Recipient. Her heifer, Boujee, was generously donated by Skookum/Betes Cattle of Moses Lake, WA. This is Boujee’s new heifer calf.

JR Seewald of Cut Bank, MT was a 2015 NILE Merit Heifer Recipient. His original heifer, Sweetheart, was generously donated by Connelly Angus of Valier, MT. Sweetheart continues to do phenomenal job for JR!
