Nine members of our club attended the State Conference from April 17-19 in Helena. They enjoyed visiting with friends from other clubs around the state, and Harriette was in the money, winning two 50/50 drawings! Marsha Price was installed as GFWC MT treasurer. Two members were installed in GFWC’s Eastern District. Marsha Price will be the president and Bev Silkwood will serve as treasurer. Deb Willis was presented her ten year pin, and the membership committee won the Creativity Award for the play, “There Might Be No Christmas” where the audience had to figure out which actress was guilty of stealing Santa’s bag of toys. A good time was had by all.

BJWC members and guests gathered for a night of fun, food, and laughter on Tuesday, February 10, as they competed in Bunco.
Bunco is a great game because it allows you to spend more time gabbing with friends than thinking about strategy. Your odds of winning a game are exactly 50%. And the prizes went to both winners and losers, so even if you lose, you win!

Our Christmas Party at the Windmill culminated with a mystery theatre called “There Might Be No Christmas.” Eight members were suspects that Santa had summoned to his workshop. They were under suspicion of stealing the sack of presents Santa needs to deliver on Christmas Eve. Which character from Christmas folklore could it be? The 8 ladies certainly got in character, and were a joy to listen to! Some may be ready to audition for a part at the Billings Studio Theater!
Want to join us, not only for some fun, but to volunteer for activities that enhance the lives of others? Check us out at gfwcbillings.org. We’d love to have you join us!

Six members of the Billings Junior Woman’s Club, in the holiday spirit, decorated a Christmas tree at the Ted Lechner Youth Services Center. The center provides temporary shelter care for youth in crisis between the ages of 12 and 17. The tree was decorated with candy, games, hygiene items, socks, and a variety of other items. Stockings with teddy bears adorned the skirt of the tree. Members brought yummy snacks and hot chocolate to share with the youth.
