Helping Hands Poker Run Inc. Sadly, insurance does not come close to paying for all the costs incurred by a diagnosis of childhood cancer or illness.

The Helping Hands Poker Run, a 501(c)(3) non-profit run entirely by volunteers, has been raising money for local families with severely ill children for over 30 years. The funds that we receive in support of the family we sponsor are used to help them defray medical costs. Through this event, we have been able to help upwards of 39 families with the financial burden associated with childhood illness.
