The performance will feature oneironaut Mo Montana dreaming a false awakening. A vivid and convincing dream about awakening from sleep, while the dreamer in reality continues to sleep. After a false awakening, subjects often dream they are performing every day tasks.

The evening will feature oneironaut Nicolle Ament as she dances a recurring dream. Recurring dreams can be experienced repeatedly over a long period. They can be pleasant or nightmarish and unique to the person and their experiences. Recurrent dreams are assumed to reveal the presence of unresolved conflicts or stressors in an individual’s life.

Come see oneironaut Kristie Ziegler Martin explore a healing dream. Healing dreams often teach us extremely important things about ourselves. These are often call-to-action dreams that linger and stay with us after other dreams would already have been forgotten. Healing dreams are most powerful when they refer to the community of people we live in. They reveal to us, in a way that is not apparent at all in waking life, the fact that we are all connected to each other and dependent on each other.

Our spring performance will feature an oneironaut, Christina Taylor, exploring a lucid dream. A dream during which the dreamer is aware of dreaming. During lucid dreaming, the dreamer may be able to exert some degree of control over the dream characters, narrative, and environment.
