The Jeromy Lee Reddig Memorial Foundation seeks to offer financial and supportive care assistance in order to improve the quality of life for the family. We wholeheartedly support the collaboration of our Oncology, Medical and Naturopathic community including Social Workers, Patient Advocates, Health Coaches, Nutritionists, and Massage Therapists. We are forever grateful for our supporters, donors
, and volunteers. Without their help JLRMF would not be able to reach out to families who need our help. We are thankful to work with other organizations in order to reduce the application process time. We are committed to provide education and networking resources to support the family. The Jeromy Lee Reddig Memorial Foundation was started in 2011 during the 5th anniversary of Jeromy’s death. Merle Reddig and Susan Reddig, parents of Jeromy and co-founders of the JLRMF, had a passion to create a foundation to reach out to other families who are going through the difficult life of a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Through our experience we know that the whole family is affected by the the disease and we wanted to find a way to share what we learned and to be a support to others. As parents of a sick child and caregivers we know the difficulties of trying to live a normal life even though nothing is normal. We saw how other members of the family needed support and needed their own special moment in order to deal with their grieving. Asking for that support is not something that seemed to be a normal request. That is why we offer support to the whole family. Today we are an IRS recognized Non-Profit Organization that is run 100% by volunteers who are passionate about improving the quality of life for the families that come our way. The money that is raised through private donations and community fundraising events helps to provide grants and scholarships to the families so they can cover expenses that are not covered by any insurance or other organization. These grants can go towards food, vehicle repair, massage therapy, house cleaning, chef-meal planning, sibling needs and support, general meeting of needs and supportive care.
