This will be our final posting from the 2026 National Scout Jamboree. Our station has been taken down, and all our gear is put away. Most of our staff have already left for home, and another sucessful Jamboree is in the books.

Thank you to everyone who has followed us on social media, worked us on the air, and helped our Scouts make contacts.

Much love to all our families who allowed us to work 12 days in West Virginia.

And a very big thank you to Icom for all their generous support to make this Jamboree a resounding success.

Very 73;

We're in the last hour of official K2BSA program. If you're trying to work us, or at the Jamboree, our operations will cease at 1500 local.

Having a little fun on our last day, we had our Scouts work the repeater on the Internal Space Station!

Where might we work next? There are other birds in the sky... Stay tuned.

Today we are introducing Scouts to Amateur Satellites, and finding satellite beacons using a handheld antenna.

Good morning Jamboree!

Today is our last day of Jamboree operations, and we will conclude our station and begin tearing down at 1500 local today. Check our pinned post to know the modes and bands we will be working.

We will also run our final net this evening at 1930 local which will be available on the Summit Bechtel Reserve's repeaters. If you are still at Jambo, please check in with us tonight one last time.

Our K2BSA Staff has truly worked hard this entire Jamboree, and we've been proud to host all of you who visited us. We're also very thankful for the incredible support of our sponsor Icom who generously loaned us all our radios and provided other critical support to us. Our station would not have been possible nor successful without their support.

We'll continue to make updates throughout today, and we want to thank everyone for following us, and supporting our Scouts.

One important element of our UHF/VHF operations are the several amateur operators around the Jamboree who are helping our Scouts make contact via our local repeaters here at the Summit. We want to take a moment and thank them for all their help getting Scouts introduced to Amateur Radio.

🌞 Good morning Jamboree! 🌞

Last night the K2BSA team hosted our second Volunteer Examination session, and we had 8 new Technicians.

Additionally, a special mention to Tristan who gets to append a "/AE" after his name as he was one of the folks who passed Technician on Monday night, and passed his General and Extra exams last night! That's an amazing accomplishment, and we're very proud and quite impressed! Congratulations to him.
