A story from Master Sergeant Army Jose A. Gonzalez.
“Hello, my name is Master Sergeant Army Jose A. Gonzalez United States Army Special Operations Forces Civil Affairs, Retired. I was wounded in combat in Iraq. I suffered a gunshot wound to my left leg and an improvised explosive device partially destroyed my right shoulder. I suffer from PTSD, Depression, and Traumatic Brain Injury.
I participated in the Operation No Person Left Behind Outdoors Montana Hunt in October-November of 2020 thanks to an invitation from Markus. The game quality during the hunt was top-notch. The accommodations and food were all fantastic. The staff was as personable and courteous as any staff that I have ever met in any Veterans-related event, if not more.
NPLB gave me the opportunity to be part of a team again. Assuring me that I can still do new and old things. If you can, please support NPLB. They are a great nonprofit organization doing wonderful things for wounded veterans like myself.”
